Selling in Trinity Beach: 2026 Market Snapshot

Fifty years of continuous development means Trinity Beach runs from entry-level units to trophy Coral Sea view homes in a single suburb. Here is the 2026 breakdown.

Where the market sits right now

Trinity Beach is the most established of Cairns' northern beaches, and fifty years of continuous development means the suburb genuinely runs a two-speed market: Vasey Esplanade and near-beach apartments trading in the high $600Ks to low $800Ks as an entry point or holiday-let play, and elevated homes on Trinity Beach Road with genuine Coral Sea views commanding $1.1M and above.

In between sit brick family homes on the flat, walk-to-beach grid, and townhouses and villas aimed squarely at downsizers who still want to be within walking distance of the Vasey Esplanade dining strip.

Days on market: the honest number

The two market speeds trade differently. Units move on yield and holiday-let potential and can sit longer while investors compare numbers; view homes move on scarcity and, when well presented, rarely last a fortnight. Well-priced family stock in the flat grid is consistently the fastest-moving segment in the suburb.

Who is actually buying

Trinity Beach has the widest buyer spread of any suburb on Cairns' northern beaches: young families, first-home buyers entering via units, downsizers wanting to walk to dinner on the sand, and interstate lifestyle relocators drawn by the sheltered swimming between the suburb's two headlands.

What this means if you're selling in 2026

Know which of the two markets your property sits in before you price it. A view home should be marketed on scarcity and the Coral Sea outlook, ideally with a drone flyover that actually shows the view from the elevated blocks. A unit or entry-level home should lead with yield, walkability and the beach lifestyle, because that is the buyer actually shopping in that bracket.
